The name Daan Pare was attributed to the road which connects to Limay, a former barrio of Orion. It was ordered built by Fr. Miguel Fuster (parish priest of Orion from 1829-1846) to lessen the burden of people who had to use the sea route just to get to Limay during the Spanish period.

The old name of the place was Barangay de Lorenzo Calma, in honor of the acknowledged first settler and cabeza de barangay of the area. It became a regular barangay in 1915 and took the name “Daan Pare”.

Daan Pare initially covers a vast tract of land, including the former sitios of Puting Buhangin, Pulong Bato, Mantigbe (now Sta. Elena) and Pandam. The original settlers of the place were Lorenzo Calma, Manuel Trajano, Hilario Cruz, Pantaleon Cruz, Alejo Agulto, Macario Agustin, Isidro Cruz, Julian Lopez and Julian Mendoza.

Daan Pare was the site of several ambuscades during the Philippine Revolution. It was in the same area called Pulta where Victor Baltazar and his 1,000 revolutionaries ambushed the troops of Spanish Lieutenant Gomez who were returning to Orion after conducting a survey of Limay on May 29, 1898.

Ang mga salitang pagunlad at teknolohiya ay sadyang napakalawak, saklaw nito ang lahat ng mga bagay sa mundong ating ginagalawan ngayon. Sa pagusbong ng mga modernong ideya at pamamaraan halos lahat ng ating mga gawain ay napapadali. Kasabay din nito ang malawakang pagbilis ng ating komunikasyon at pakikipagugnayan.

Upang lubos nating magamit ang pagkakataong ito lalung–lalo na sa ating serbisyo publiko, isang malaking prebilihiyo po naming kayong inaanyayahan sa aming website. Sa tulong po nito ay maihahatid namen ang aming tapat na serbisyo at paglilingkod para lamang po sa inyo.
